Messi the footballer: Claudia & Alex

Lionel Messi has played his last game of 2013 after tests carried out.

    They found that the Barcelona forward tore a muscle in his left thigh.

Messi,26 years old, appeared to suffer an injury during a sprint while challenging for the ball with Betis defender Jose Caro. Immediately he tells them he was hurt and Andres Iniesta replaced him.

He is expected to miss the                                       

next six to eight weeks.

     This is Messi´s third injury this season. So, Messi must stop for the time he needs and he needs to stand out. Now it looks like Messi will get to spend Christmas at home in Argentina and perhaps will be back in action for his club first game of 2014 at home…
